DBE 

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), as defined in 49 CFR Part 26, have full opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts awarded by the WMSC, particularly in federally-assisted contracts.

The WMSC actively works to include DBEs in the procurement process for all goods and services to the maximum extent practicable. The WMSC encourages DBEs to compete for WMSC contracts, and encourages joint ventures between DBE and non-DBE firms who compete for WMSC contracts.
